Barbara Marcic

Barbara Marčič was born in Maribor in 1982 and enrolled in ballet trainee in 1987. Year later started to educate also gymnastics at sportingly-gymnastic association in Ruše.

She was stil visiting musically and ballet school as a pupil of a transverse flute, and start to dance jazz ballet at confessed educator Mojca Ussar. All time of education (all from year 1993 to year 2000) she had fixed-term contract with SNG Maribor where she was in diferent dramas with own dramatic, danceing and musical inserts.

At year 2000 She moved to Ljubljana where she was also improved in Swing and Hip-hop danceing, she was choreographer, a educator and active dancer in various show of Jazz and Swing, and dance cooperated with sport dancers (Bor Pantič) .

She was first instruktor of six count swing in Maribor where she is teaching from 2004 on in dance school Rolly, all diferent stiles ( Jazz & Theatre, Hip-Hop, Swing).

She cooperated at congresses at home and abroad, educated on Danes Factory workshopih, and congresses abroad (Belgrade, Barcelona, NY, Sarajevo, ...). She cooperated with SNG Novo mesto in 2007 (Anton Podbevšek Theater), as choreographer of theatre performance Hamlet 60min and with Spring Festival 2010 as Jazz & Theatre teacher.

In season 2008/09, she was choreographer for musical Grees .

2009th of year she went to NY and danced in BROADWAY DANCE CENTER in NEW YORK CITY .
